William (Willie) Cummins
March 17, 2025

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Cummins Mount Armstrong, Donadea, Co. Kildare and late of New York and San Francisco, USA and Carrick On Shannon, Co. Leitrim, died March 17th 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Maynooth Community Care Unit. Willie was pre-deceased by his baby grandson Darragh, his brothers John and James and his sister Bridget. Willie will be sadly missed by his beloved family, wife Maureen, sons John and Liam, daughter Annemarie, son-in-law Marty, his adored grandchildren Gavin, Shane, Eva and Lily, sister Kathleen (Jones), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and dear friends.

Willie’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Rathcoffey, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

The death has occurred of John Farrelly, Mainham, Clane and late of “Rye Cottage”, Main St., Leixlip, Co. Kildare, March 4th 2025, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of The Residence Nursing Home, Maynooth. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, son Paul, daughter-in-law Oksana, granddaughters Jennifer and Sofia, brother Eugene, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane on Thursday from 4pm – 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home on Friday at approx. 10am to arrive at St. Patrick and St. Brigid’s Church, Clane for 10.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

The death has occurred of Des Marron, MPSI, Carrigeen, Clane, Co. Kildare and Lord Mayor of Clane, February 24th 2025, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen and father-in-law of the late Brian. Deeply regretted by his loving children Fiona, Máire, Victor, John, Kevin, Cecily and Edel, sons-in-law Eamon and Russell, daughters-in-law Bernie and Gillian, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, loyal staff and customers and a large circle of friends.

Mayo, February 20th 2025, peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, surrounded by his loving family, deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, children Mark, Gillian, Michael, Terry and Emma, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Terry, Fr. The death has occurred of Kathleen Dunphy (née Fayne), Meadow Court, Clane and late of Cowanstown, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and Lanesboro, Co. Longford, February 16th 2025, peacefully at Naas Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, sisters Bridie, Chris and Eileen and brother Tim, deeply regretted and sadly missed by her son Aidan, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Ava and Helen, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Wednesday at approx. 10am to arrive at St. Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Church, Clane for 10:30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

Kildare, February 10th 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Mount Peasant Lodge Nursing Home, Kilcock, predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, sister Eithne and brother Michael.  Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Mary and Elizabeth, brothers Denis and Christopher, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
