The death has occurred of Des Marron, MPSI, Carrigeen, Clane, Co. Kildare and Lord Mayor of Clane, February 24th 2025, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen and father-in-law of the late Brian. Deeply regretted by his loving children Fiona, Máire, Victor, John, Kevin, Cecily and Edel, sons-in-law Eamon and Russell, daughters-in-law Bernie and Gillian, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, loyal staff and customers and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane on Thursday from 4pm – 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Friday at approx. 11:30am to arrive at St. Patrick’s and St. Brigid’s Church, Clane for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.
